The final part of the QHSE Leadership Package is our QHSE Master Class -- an intensive, four-day program for our most senior offshore management that includes Safety Leadership Training (SLT) and Environmental Management System (EMS) components. As with all our training, it is designed to foster a QHSE culture to daily deliver our safety vision.  Using material developed for the SLT and EMS workshops our “train the trainer” approach motivates people with the knowledge to go into the field and make QHSE champions of everyone on their installation. 

Learning the most intricate details of our QHSE Management System while sharing ideas from across different installations, countries and cultures takes dedication for senior offshore managers who devote their time off to this cause. It shows our offshore teams that QHSE leadership requires more than just theory, it takes clear commitment demonstrated at all times.

Our managers must also know how to interact with their people, how to get the very best from them and how to make them QHSE leaders in their workplace, influencing others along the way.  As a result, the best people make a difference in safety. 

Every class provides the chance to hear the safety vision from the people who developed it and who support it at the very highest levels of Transocean.  Their message is clear: use the tools in place, cascade the training and be proactive QHSE leaders everyday.  When this happens, it shows nothing is more important than ensuring a safe working environment for our people.
